Provider: Project Twin Streams - Glen Eden
Region: Auckland
Duration
Ongoing
Description
Project Twin Streams Glen Eden is always looking for committed individuals who can spare some time to assist with our ongoing stream restoration project in the Glen Eden area.
Depending on the season, work can include planting native species with community groups or schools, assisting with workshops, stream monitoring or removal of invasive weed species.
We are able to offer on the job training, and in certain cases, for long-term volunters, may also be able to assist with vocational courses.
We are also keen to hear from anyone with other skills that might be useful (e.g. photography, admin/computers, design skills etc)
Skills required
Some experience in conservation work is an advantage, but enthusiasm and reliability are far more important!
