Description
Volunteer camp hosts are required for Cowshed Bay and Kenepuru Head campgrounds, Marlborough Sounds.
Volunteer for 2-4 weeks between 26 Feb through to Easter 2019. Volunteers must have a love for the outdoors and camping, be able to converse easily in English with other campers, and a willingness to keep the campground sparkling. Volunteers MUST have their own vehicle. A police check certificate is required - ask how if you don't have one.
Responsibilities include information sharing, fee collection, pass compliance and recording, minor campsite maintenance and cleaning the facilities. Tasks usually take 2-3 hours, and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy.
All camping gear including motorhome or tent, camp cooker etc must be provided by the host.
Hosts will receive a $50/week reimbursement for groceries.
