Description
Viet Learning and Community Development Center (VLCDC) is an NGO and a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Consultants in science Technology and Management (HASCON). It offers consultancy, education, HR development as well as community/pro bono services to organizations, private individuals, professionals and businessmen in Vietnam and abroad.
In partnership with Vietnam Living Values, a representative of STEPS4NGOs in Central and South Vietnam. STEPS4NGOs is a project funded by Youth in Action Program of the European Union.
BLUE OCEAN, THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SUMMER CAMP
BLUE OCEAN is the name of the 2013 International Youth Summer Camp in Vietnam. It is a program aims to teach practical skills and cultural awareness to young people. The program is an extension of the STEPS4NGOs project (www.steps4ngos.net).
OUR PURPOSE:
To develop and strengthen a network of international youth organizations and to promote best practices in environment protection, youth development and cultural awareness among youth;
TIME FRAME:
27 July to 30 July (4 days and 4 nights). Note: we will leave from HCMC to Nha Trang in the morning of 26 July and depart from Nha Trang in the morning of 31 July (6 days-5 nights)
PLACE: Nha Trang, Central Vietnam
PARTICIPANTS’ AGE: 16-28
CAPACITY: 80 persons
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good English knowledge, though not an absolute requirement.
Preference will be given to persons who already are active volunteers to social work programs.
