Submerged Macrophyte Restoration Tech looking to volunteer

I'm an aquatic ecology restoration intern from the West Coast of the USA who will have a few months off between restoration projects this Winter between June and October. I'd like to experience doing restoration in a totally different part of the world and maybe lend my experience working with submerged aquatic vegetation (I know there are plenty of seagrass beds in New Zealand that need some love!). I have a Bachelor's degree in biology and my experience is split between working in the field, the lab, and in greenhouses.
